BROWNFIELD ENTERPRISE
Large organisations already have applications, infrastructure, databases, identities, integrations, document stores, historical data and established processes. New solutions must coexist safely and support gradual modernisation.

CONTROLLED CHANGE
Requirements, impact, validation, deployed versions, integration and data readiness, and operational implications must remain traceable. Separate DEV, TEST and PROD environments may be used where appropriate to reduce operational risk.
MIGRATION
Migration validates content, metadata, relationships, versions, permissions and continuity through mapping, transformation, quality control and result validation. It is part of information architecture, not file copying.
